A classic performance!

EnRich grant recipient musician Emma Prince has received the news she has been waiting for and been offered a scholarship with the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Emma, 17, was offered scholarships at all four of the conservatoires where she auditioned and is over the moon to receive the offer at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. She is one of only a few bassists to be offered a place and will begin studying there in September.

Emma from Silkstone Common is currently a String Leader with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. EnRich has supported her with two grants to help cover the costs of travel to London and accommodation to enable her to become the first musician from Barnsley to join the NYOGB.

We are extremely pleased for Emma and we wish her well.
