Underneath The Stars Festival, July 2016

EnRich is once again supporting creative activities for children at the “Underneath The Stars” Festival being held at Cannon Hall near Barnsley.

This fabulous festival is in its third year and will fill local fields again with music and creativity for three days in July starting on Friday July 22 – Sunday July 24, 2016.

The family-friendly event features music and artistic activities over all three days with music continuing into the evening. There’s a wide range of food choices available to suit all tastes, a great beer tent and the facility to camp if you don’t want to leave the site once you arrive!

At last year’s event we supported all the creative activities for younger children and had a great time on our EnRich stall meeting people and raising the charity’s profile.

This year our stall will be bigger and better thanks to Barnsley-based business Totally Tipi who are providing us with a marquee and to local artist and sculptor Michelle Clarke-Stables who will be our artist-in-residence with her Home – The Van Project.

To get a “feel” for the event have a look at this short video created at last year’s event.

The festival is a collaboration between Barnsley folk singer-songwriter Kate Rusby, her family production team and Cannon Hall Open Farm run by the Nicholson family.
