Don’t miss the EnRich Tea Party!

Our EnRich Tea Party is now only a couple of weeks away!

Cakes, cuppas and a camper van are on the menu for the event on Saturday June 18th at the garden and studio of artist and sculptor Michelle Clarke-Stables.

Michelle is hosting the event at 102 Spark Lane in Mapplewell, S75 6AD, from 2pm – 5pm. She said: “EnRich has supported me with a grant for a creative project and I wanted to say thank you by supporting them. My studio and new sculpture workspace will be open to visitors too”.

EnRich Chair of Trustees Josie Whiteley said: “It will be a lovely afternoon out with artistic activities for all ages thanks to Michelle’s Home-the Van Project and music will be provided by local musicians.”

“We have had lots of lovely raffle prizes offered and promises of delicious cakes too, people are so kind and very supportive of EnRich”.

A weekend in a 1970’s VW camper van has been kindly donated as a fantastic raffle prize by Katie and Frazer Oldfield from Penistone. Katie and Frazer have just set up their new business hiring out vans for camping, weddings and proms and were happy to be helping such a good cause.

A beautiful painting of Darton Church has also been donated by the family of Yorkshire artist the late Les Packham MBE, a well-known water-colourist. His wife Judith said: “Les would have been highly delighted for it to go to such a good cause helping other creative people”.

The EnRich Giraffe was specially made by Sharon Fisher of The Knitting Giraffe and the person giving him his winning name will get to take him home!

All are welcome at the Tea Party. “We just ask those attending to give us a call on 07718123402 or email us to reserve a place on EnRich2013@hotmail.com so we don’t run out of cake!” said Josie.
