We had a lovely evening recently as VIPs at Barnsley Youth Choir’s 10th Anniversary Celebrations and were blown away as always by their performance.

The three-day event involved hundreds of choir members of all ages working alongside choirs, conductors and professional singers from all over the world.
We felt extremely honoured that they chose to raise money for EnRich through the raffle at one of their amazing concerts and we wanted to say “thank you” to all involved for the £540 they raised for us.

Fingers crossed… we had our eye on some of those fab prizes!
This is particularly kind when they have to work so hard to raise funds to ensure the opportunities the choir offers are available to all their members.
For the latest opportunity they needed to raise £65,000! But their perseverance paid off and they are now heading to South Africa on Monday for their latest overseas tour and we would like to wish them all a safe journey.
They will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s best choral leaders and choirs and they have a packed schedule of rehearsals, performances and sightseeing.
Whether they are visiting a local village, the Apartheid Museum in Soweto or lion-spotting on safari we hope they have an incredible musical and cultural experience.
